I’m Katheryn, but most people call me Kat. I love everything about editing. I love collaborating with directors and producers to make their vision come to life. I excel at crafting performance and getting into the nitty gritty detailed work that turns good films into great ones. I’m a perfectionist in my work and a chill, calm-under-pressure person to spend time with in the bay.

I came up in editing through the indie world before expanding to scripted television and studio features. I learned to wear different hats when needed, working as a director and producer in addition to editing. Having on set experience and understanding all moving parts of a film makes me an editor who can bridge the gap between production and post. I stay calm under pressure, get scrappy when needed and most of all, I stay positive and solution focused at all times. In a nutshell, I will make your project better and we’ll have fun doing it.

In addition to features and tv, I have experience producing, directing and editing commercials, music videos, branded entertainment, short films, and social media.
